The Millennium Ecosystem Assessment (MA) Project framework in Egypt, Environment Impact Assessment Unit (EIU). The assessment framework developed for the MA offers decision- makers a mechanism to Identify options that can better achieve core human development and sustainability goals. I work as Researcher Assistant in the area of biodiversity (studying the flora of El-Magharaa, El-Arousia and El-Hamah valleys in North Sinai, Egypt) in which I did the following activities:

1-I’m visiting the studied areas, collecting samples and making herbarial sheets for plant species.

2- I’m writing visiting, meeting and scientific reports, respectively.

KACST/ PEC (King Abdel-Aziz City for Science and Technology/ Japanese Petroleum Energy Company) joint project and development program on R 1-2 project titled: {Development of water recirculation system for high density cultures of Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) in Saudi Arabia} at Natural Resources and Environmental Research Institute in Riyadh. I was Researcher in the area of phytoremediation and I'm responsible for "Aquaponics" greenhouse No. 4 as a tool of environmental preservation technology and sustainable Agriculture. Furthermore, I responsible for plant & water sampling, kit analysis (Macro- and micronutrients) and I'm writing monthly scientific reports. Also, I’m gathering data such as pH, EC, Temperature, light intensity and relative moisture ….. etc.

1. Advanced Plant anatomy (preparing permanent slides and investigate them by light Microscope attached with Camera, then gathering data and measurements).

 

2. Advanced Plant Microtechnique (including primitive & modern Techniques such as proteins (SDS-PAGE) and isozymes electrophoresis, then data analysis using Gel Pro. software.

I had certificate of appreciation from Ismailia Governor because I had my M.Sc in Agricultural Botany.  

2003

I had certificate of appreciation and honorary prize from Japanese-Saudi joint research and development program from January 13, 2002 to March 31, 2003 (researcher position) for my valuable services and contributions at KACST, Natural Resources and Environment Research Institute, SA, in the area of Aquaponics (Aquaculture + Hydroponics). 

1998

I had received the Suez Canal University medal from SCU president because I won the second position among all graduate students in the department of Soil and Water in addition to the sixth position among all graduate students from the various departments in our faculty.
